1. Authentic Profiles

Be Genuinely Yourself
Your profile must represent who you actually are. Use recent, accurate photos and honest biographical information. Misrepresenting your age, appearance, relationship status, or intentions is a violation of these guidelines and grounds for immediate removal.
- Use real photos of yourself taken within the last 2 years
- Do not use heavily filtered or digitally altered photos that misrepresent your appearance
- Do not create multiple accounts or fake profiles
- Do not impersonate another person or use their photos
- Disclose if you are in an open relationship or non-monogamous arrangement
2. Respectful Communication

Engage with Dignity
All interactions on ALTHEA must be respectful. Harassment, hate speech, threats, or demeaning language of any kind will result in immediate account removal.
- Do not send unsolicited explicit or sexual messages
- Do not continue contact after someone has asked you to stop
- Do not use language that is discriminatory based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic
- Do not threaten, intimidate, or bully other members
- Treat rejection gracefully — everyone has the right to choose their connections
3. Safety & Privacy

Protect Yourself and Others
Never share or solicit sensitive personal information such as financial details, home addresses, or government ID numbers through ALTHEA messages.
- Do not share or request financial information from other members
- Do not distribute other members' photos, messages, or personal information without their consent
- Report suspicious behavior immediately
- Meet first dates in public places
- Trust your instincts — report anything that feels unsafe
4. No Solicitation or Scams
ALTHEA has zero tolerance for any form of financial solicitation, fraud, or scam activity:
- Do not solicit money, gifts, loans, or financial assistance from members
- Do not promote commercial services, businesses, or websites
- Do not engage in romance scams or catfishing
- Do not use ALTHEA to recruit for multi-level marketing or investment schemes
- Do not use ALTHEA for escort services or any form of prostitution
5. Appropriate Content
All content on ALTHEA must be appropriate and legal:
- No nudity or sexually explicit content in profiles or public areas
- No content that promotes or glorifies violence, self-harm, or illegal activity
- No content that exploits, harms, or endangers minors
- No graphic violence or disturbing imagery
- Profile photos must show your face clearly as the primary subject
6. Minors Are Strictly Prohibited

Adults Only (18+)
ALTHEA is exclusively for adults aged 18 and over. Any account found to belong to a minor will be immediately deleted. Any attempt to contact or solicit minors will be reported to law enforcement.
7. Enforcement
Consequences of Violations
Violations of these guidelines may result in:
- Warning: For minor first-time violations
- Content removal: Removal of offending content or photos
- Temporary suspension: For repeated or moderate violations
- Permanent ban: For severe violations, with no refund
- Legal action: For illegal activity, including cooperation with law enforcement
8. Reporting
If you encounter behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it immediately. We review all reports and take appropriate action:
- Use the "Report" button on any profile or message
- Email contact@altheadating.com with details
- All reports are confidential — the person you report will not know you reported them
We take all reports seriously and aim to respond within 24 hours.
9. Appeals
If you believe your account was suspended or removed in error, you may appeal by emailing contact@altheadating.com with the subject "Account Appeal." We will review your case within 5 business days.
