Cancellation Policy — ALTHEA Dating

You can cancel your ALTHEA subscription at any time — no questions asked, no cancellation fees. We believe in earning your loyalty, not trapping you.

1. How to Cancel

Cancelling your ALTHEA subscription is simple. You have two options:

Option A — Cancel via Email (Fastest)

Email contact@altheadating.com with subject line "Cancel My Subscription"

Include your registered email address in the message

We will confirm cancellation within 1 business day and stop all future charges

Option B — Cancel via Account Settings

Go to Settings → Subscription → Cancel Subscription

Confirm your cancellation. You'll receive a confirmation email immediately.

2. What Happens After Cancellation

Immediate effect: Your subscription is cancelled immediately — no further charges will occur.
Access continues: You retain access to your premium features until the end of your current billing period.
Your data: Your profile and matches remain accessible. You can reactivate at any time.
Reactivation: Simply re-subscribe at any time. Your history and connections are preserved for 90 days after cancellation.

3. Cancellation Deadline

To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, cancel at least 24 hours before your next renewal date. You can see your renewal date in your account settings or on your confirmation email.

If you cancel on the same day as a renewal charge, please contact us immediately — we will do our best to assist you.

4. Free Trial Cancellation

If you signed up for a free trial, you must cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged. We will send you a reminder email 3 days before your trial expires.

5. Annual Subscription Cancellation

Annual subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Upon cancellation of an annual plan:

No further annual charges will occur
You retain access through the end of your paid year
For pro-rated refunds on unused months, please review our Refund Policy

6. Account Deletion

Cancelling your subscription is different from deleting your account. If you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated data, email contact@altheadating.com with subject "Delete My Account." Please review our Privacy Policy for information on data retention.

7. Reactivation

Changed your mind? You can reactivate your subscription at any time by visiting our pricing page and selecting a plan. If it has been less than 90 days since cancellation, your profile and connections will be restored.
